ParticipantMy website – http://www.Murcia247.com – uses Events Calendar Pro (3.11.1) and
suits our purposes 100%However, we are unable to upgrade to the latest version – despite
following the various links showing how to do it.The following messages remain on the dashboard:
The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.11.1. All
add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function
properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More. The page “Events Calendar” uses the “/events-calendar” slug: the Events
Calendar plugin will show its calendar in place of the page.Edit the page slug or edit The Events Calendar settings.
I realise I am a Muppet, but even Muppets sometimes need Love and Help from time to
time.Kind Regards,
David

ParticipantSorry you’re having trouble David! We’re happy to help Muppets here and hopefully I can help sort this out.
First things first, do you have any pages on your site whose title is “Events”, and therefore whose “URL slug” is /events/ ?
If so, find this in the Admin of your site, and then delete it, and then head to the “trash” and “Permanently Delete” this page there too.
Does this get rid of the error? And if so, does that enable your update to happen smoothly?
Cheers! 🙂

ParticipantGood morning.
Thank you.
I followed your advice and am now happy to report that all now works as it should.
You have made one Muppet, very happy. My bounce has returned as I felt the love……………..

Best of luck with your site for now – if other issues arise, post a new thread here any time!

MemberHi there,
I wanted to drop in here and let you know that a fix for this problem is included in our upcoming release. Keep an eye on your Updates page for the new version and watch our blog for the release notes post.
If you experience any issues after updating your plugins to the new versions, please open a new thread in the forum and we’d be happy to take a look.
Thank you for your patience while we expand and improve our plugins!
Best,
