ParticipantI just downloaded the Events Calendar from here http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ and then purchased the Pro Version. When I went to install the Events Calendar, I received this message Unpacking the packageā¦
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

MemberHello christineward321gmailcom,
Welcome and thanks for upgrading to Pro! Sorry you ran into this issue, we’ll get you up and running quickly.
It seems this issue is typically a problem with the host, probably a file permissions problem. It seems possible your server can’t properly unzip the plugin.
Could you reply back with your host’s information? I don’t need private information, not yet at least. Just simple information like:
- Who is your host?
- How do you access your site? (FTP, CPanel, SSH, etc)
- Are you able to use other plugins?
If you give me an idea of your workflow I can narrow the issue.
You might have better luck if you install the core plugin from the WP-Admin > Plugins > Add New page. Also, you can try just uploading the folder, instead of the zip file.
Does this make sense? If you reply back with this info we can move ahead.
Cheers!

ParticipantI did finally upload the folders through FTP, activated The Events Calendar with no problem, when activating the Events Calendar Pro I got this message: Warning: require_once(lib/tribe-events-pro-pue.class.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mnt/data/vhosts/casite-593682.cloudaccess.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php on line 1858
So I deleted Pro, uploaded again through FTP, and they both activated..now I just have to figure out where to start!

MemberOk! So it sounds like everything is installed correctly?
Here are good some primers for getting started.

Sounds like you problem is solved now, is this correct?
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Cheers!
