GuestDear support,
Thanks for making a great plugin!
I am considering using The Events Calendar for a new project, but might be missing a way to show the events divided into multiple days viewed on the same page.
I know my way around the template files, but need to know if this is at all possible?
Please view the attached mockup:

I would guess it has to do with the Day View pagination. Is it possible to change it to fx show 7 days from the start date?

MemberHey Steffen,
Nice mockup! That looks awesome and would be a sweet customization of the calendar. 🙂
Good question. There is really no option for showing more than one day at a time in Day View — it’s designed to display one day at a time and customizing the template would be a big task.
List View is more suited for the task because it already divides the event posts by date, but will still require some custom tinkering.
The biggest sticking point to me is how to always ensure that 7 days are displayed. You could use the setting for how many posts per page if you know exactly how many events there are each week. However, there is no setting or automated way to change that dynamically right out of the box.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

GuestHi Geoff,
Thanks for your fast reply 🙂
Ok I thought it would be difficult. How about making a custom page instead with a widget or shortcode to display the events of each day?
Is there a widget with a date attribute to display the events?

MemberYou bet! There is indeed a shortcode with date attributes that come with Events Calendar PRO. In fact, we have a guide on how to use the date filter in it here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Another way to go about it is to use the tribe_get_events() function to build your own query on a custom page template:
Will either of these methods work for you? Let me know!

GuestHi Geoff,
The shortcode solution won’t work since it’s restricted to one per page. But the query will work just fine.
Thanks a lot for your help 🙂
