When adding recurring dates for events in the admin (Event Calendar Pro) the incorrect date format is showing. See screen grab.
Date shows 80 May 2017

You’re absolutely right.
Unfortunately we don’t yet have complete support in that specific area for all the possible date formats that can be provided via our Display → Date Format Settings but it certainly seems like we could make this a little more robust so that, in your example, it at least renders as 8 May 2017 even if 8th May 2017 is desired.
At any rate, our apologies for this and I’ll log an issue to ensure some further work takes place.
