Incorrect date for Jetpack Related posts

When using Jetpacks related posts feature, on a single event page it will insert 3 related events, however the date shown is not the event date but the date that the event was published on WP.

Is there any way round this or should we just hide the dates?

Our Events Calendar PRO add-on provides Related Events.

Jetpack’s Related Posts might be displaying the event post’s Published Date instead of its Start Date. If you’d like to use their plugin along with our plugin’s event posts, you’ll need to handle that yourself. If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
