“Include events in main blog loop” selecting categories

Hi we are testing out the free version and are looking forward to several features from the pro, mainly the photo view. But before we take the plunge we want to make sure there’s a way of selecting which event categories should display in the main event loop.

This is actually not an option on the core plugin or in PRO. That said, it’s something that can be achieved by hooking to pre_get_posts to modify the main query. Basically it’s possible with a little snippet 😉
