    Hi guys,
Just purchased PRO edition of TEC. Not a programmer in any way.
Basically, Im trying to replicate how posts look when utilising the theme options.

1/ In the Events of your plugins I see I can add my theme’s ‘Custom Fields’ but they won’t update/save if I try! This stops me adding the look of my posts to the the events. Do your Events exclude custom fields from themes?

Everything is almost working perfect without changing anything except I have another 2 questions;-

2/ The featured image in the theme is seemingly centred for sliders etc… but if I use your (Tribe Event Styles) for default stylesheet together with Default Events Template my Featured Image in single event view is left aligned nicely but the details box is all white background (not what I want – I want the themes background like the rest of the page see thru like the theme) However, if I choose Full Styles (tries to grab my theme’s styles) with Default Events Template the calendar view is perfect (nice see thru parts where theres no events on days etc.. BUT the Featured Image is centred (yet I need it aligned left). So my quandary is which style sheet should I change or is there a quick way of changing your white background on yours to the theme’s background? If you look at the site goto ‘Showtime with Cabaret Boheme’ to see centred image / white background Im trying to rid myself of.

3/ One final question: I’m confused as to why when I check ‘Include events in main blog loop’ that it works fine for sliders in POSTS but not for GRID view widgets setup in WP PAGES taking the POSTS. Events are still inserted into the gridget!

Apart from these initial hiccups the TEC Pro is absolutely awesome. Congratulations for what you give us.

Ok I figured out how I can add code for background as in an earlier post and adding a line in in a separate css file entitled tribe-events.css.

I guess I could do that for the white background for ticket prices etc? Just got to find where they are in your original css.
However, Im still stuck trying to override my theme’s centre alignment of featured image in single-event view. Any clues as to where I should look?

    Hi Driftwood,

You’ve asked a number of questions and we generally try to stick to one issue per thread. What I’d suggest is dealing with the following problem here and any other questions can be asked in new threads.

In the Events of your plugins I see I can add my theme’s ‘Custom Fields’ but they won’t update/save if I try! This stops me adding the look of my posts to the the events. Do your Events exclude custom fields from themes?

So I’m just slightly confused: which screen or page are you referring to? Do you mean for example that you are unable to define new fields in the Events → Settings  Additional Fields screen?

    No. Not your additional fields.
In Screen Options under ‘Edit Event’ I can tick ‘Custom Fields’ these include theme options which bring many of my Posts options into Events editor. However, selecting and inserting values is not stored when saving (publishing) as when they immediately disappear after saving in Edit Event.

I’m sorry we missed this – it looks like it was (perhaps accidentally?) marked by you as resolved and so wasn’t flagged up as being in need of a reply. Can we help further here, or are you all sorted?
