Impossible to upload csv file

    Hello, we have several problems with events calendar pro and csv import.
    It seems impossibile to upload a csv: after selecting “import csv” from the dropdown menu, the “origin” (csv file) disappear from selection and if we continue with the upload (select type of content / upload file) after few second a message appear on the page:
    “There was an error fetching the results from your import: There was a problem processing your import. Please try again.”

    Actual version of wp and plugins are:
    WP – 4.7.4
    Events calendar – 4.4.4
    Events calendar pro – 4.4.4
    Events calendar shortcode – 1.4.2

    It’s possible to upload a csv with events calendar version 4.2.6 but calendar shortcode doesn’t work.

    Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

    I’m sorry you are experiencing an issue with CSV import. Let me help you with that.

    Would it be possible to share with me the csv file you are trying to import? I would like to test it. How big is the file?

    If the file is too large, then you can use a cloud service like dropbox for sharing it.

    Also please note that since version 4.4.4 we have released updates to our plugins. The current versions are:

    The Events Calendar 4.5.1
    Events Calendar Pro 4.4.7

    (Events Calendar Shortcode 1.5.2 – note, this is a third-party plugin and is not maintained by us.)

    I would recommend you to update the plugins after making a full backup of your site and database. (Just in case.)

    After the backup try the upload again.
