ParticipantHey!
I imported a calendar feed (XML) to Events Calendar Pro with WP All Import. Everything worked perfectly – the events were created with the correct times and venues. The only things is that they say they are published, but they are not showing on calendar. Upon further investigation, I have to go into each even (in WordPress) and press the Update button. Once I do that, the event shows up in the calendar.
Is this there a workaround so I don’t have to go into each event and update it? I tried bulk updating by selecting all the posts and editing them, but that doesn’t work.
Thanks in advance!

MemberHmm, interesting. It’s hard to say: I can only guess that some piece of data wasn’t pulled in by your importer plugin and that editing and re-publishing/re-saving them triggers a correction – but I can only really make a guess there.
Not knowing what your XML data looked like our how this other plugin works I’m not sure there’s too much we’re going to be able to offer here, unfortunately.

ParticipantBut there is a reason why I can’t update all of the events by doing a bulk update, rather then updating each one individually?
Thanks for looking into this!

MemberYou should indeed be able to conduct a bulk update – can you confirm if you are changing any fields when you do this update? It may be that if no values are actually changed, the update process doesn’t run as perhaps it does from within the event editor itself.

ParticipantI eventually got this to work. First, I thought I was just missing required fields when doing the import. After spending a few hours, I totally overlooked the dates after doing the import. The dates were messed up. Once I created a custom PHP function to reformat the dates correctly, I was good to go!
Thanks for helping!
