Importing Tickets – options?

Just to ask, it currently isn’t possible to import tickets via CSV (and then associate with their respective events)? From what I could see from the documentation and a look through the forums, there isn’t really anything indicating that there is that feature, but confirmation on that matter would be handy.

As an alternative, is it possible to import Woocommerce products as tickets and associate those to events. Basically, currently the process is:

Import Events -> Manually create tickets -> WooCommerce products created automatically

What I want to know is if this is possible:

Import WooCommerce products -> Associate these as tickets -> Apply them to Events

I don’t think the latter will really work as tickets would constitute their own custom post type, and a product import will only really import the needed information for the product itself to work with Woocommerce and not the information needed for the ticket. If anything, I’m looking to see if it is possible at all to create an import process that could make things simpler for handling a large number of events with ticket information to be sold through a website.

If there isn’t such a process, then I’ll have to change tack, but it would be good to get this in writing.

So neither way is possible to import tickets.

You might be able to import the products into WooCommerce then to associate with an Event you would have to add this custom field:

_tribe_wooticket_for_event

with the value being the id of the event to the products custom meta.

That might work, but it is untested.
