Dan
ParticipantI have events calendar v4.4.1.1 and pro v4.4.1. I can export an ics file, but it won’t import into Outlook or Google calendars. I use Outlook to print. Here’s a screenshot of the Outlook send/receive process. There are about 30 error lines referring to floating time and undeclared time zones. The last line is…”Task ‘Internet calendars’ reported error (0x0043002): This job has reached its maximum number of warnings. Future warnings will not be displayed. It’s important that I get this file into Outlook for printing. I have disabled all plugins and used 2014 and 2017 theme.
Part of Outlook error screen is attached.

KeymasterHello Dan,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m really sorry about the importing issue.
I would like to do some tests, would it be possible to share that .ics file with me that you are trying to import?
I will then look into it, if this is a bug or not.
Thanks,

KeymasterCan you check if despite the error messages, do the events get imported into outlook?
Thanks,

ParticipantEvents do not get imported into Outlook

KeymasterHello Dan,
Thanks for reporting back on this.
I have tried to import the feed of February 2017 to my Outlook. It did import 1) with lots of error messages and 2) to the months of June and July.
Could you please check if maybe the same happens to you as well, to confirm?
It looks like we have a bug on our hands. I will create an internal bugticket so this issue can be addressed as soon as possible. I’m sorry for this inconvenience.
Cheers,

ParticipantI’ve checked again. Some events for June 2017 do get imported. All others cause errors.

KeymasterDan, thanks a lot for checking that!
It looks like there are 2 bugs here in the works. Importing into future months and the importing errors.
I’m sorry about this frustrating issue. I got a bugticket for both filed and we will get these fixed as soon as possible. I ask for some patience.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released. If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and reference this one.
Thanks and cheers,

I wanted to post a quick note here that we have published a new Maintenance Release today that should address some of the problems reported in this thread with the plugins’ Month View ics exports.
You can read about the details of this release here → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-4-3-event-tickets-4-4-3-premium-add-ons/
I hope this update helps!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
