Importing events from a feed

We are interested in using theeventscalendar plugin on our website. Currently we have hundreds of events in a MySQL database. If we set up an iCal feed in PHP (something like http://blog.pamelafox.org/2013/04/outputting-ical-with-php.html), with the iCal importer, we can import all these events and then check the iCal feed on a regular basis (every two to four weeks) to import any new events.

That is all possible with your products, correct? We’re not missing any crucial steps?

Thanks for the interest in the iCal Importer.

From what you describe that should be possible with the iCal Importer.

As long as the iCal feed is a valid iCal feed the import should be able to read it and import on a recurring basis.
