Felix
ParticipantHi,
I am importing a couple of hundred venues via CSV and need to import multiple images.
The logo of the venue gets imported as featured image but some venues also have a picture like a photo of the building. Is there any way to import those as well?
Thanks in advance

MemberHi there Felix,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I just did a couple of test to see if there was any workaround to make this work but couldn’t find any ๐
There are other 3rd party plugins that let you import external images into WordPress sites, maybe those can help out for this case. I know WP All Import has some great functionalities for bulk importing content, maybe you can give that plugin a try.
Anyway I’ll touch base with the rest of the team on Monday and ask them if they are aware of any possible workaround for this.

MemberHey Felix,
I’ve touched base with the rest of the team but this is not a feature of our plugin at the moment. You are welcome to suggest this feature request at The Events Calendar user voice page, where we gather feedback from our community.
In the meantime using a third-party importer plugin sounds like the way to go.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

ParticipantHi Nico,
thanks for checking. I went with a custom solution and modified the existing “Feature Image”-Importer myself, so that it supports importing another image from my csv and attaches it to the post.
Since I only needed this once, it doesn’t matter if it gets overwritten with a coming update. The necessary function to retrieve or edit it in the “tribe_venue” meta-data is in my child themes functions.php, so I think I’m good for now.
Thanks again
