Import Google Calendar

I had posted in a topic that not being monitored (https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/google-calendar-import-3/) so adding my question here again – hopefully you can help.

I need to migrate a google calendar into a brand new ECP install; I know I can import cdv, but I’m having a hard time getting that out of google.
Can you please help? provide some guidance?

Hi there Martin,

Right now it looks like Google Calendar only supports iCal and XML – so I’m afraid our CSV Importer isn’t going to be of use with this one, at least not directly.

You could however get hold of the calendar data in iCal format and convert it to CSV format from there – and it could even be that there are some existing tools that might help you to do just that, though I’m afraid I’ve got no specific recommendations at this time.

Thanks Barry; I found a great utility on the web called GCal2Excel (http://gcal2excel.com) that made the process much much easier. I still had to do a bunch of prep work on my excel file once I got it form GCal2Excel, but once I did the import went in without a hitch.
