    Hello,

I just tested the import from one website to another and it works like a charm!

    This is amazing.

However, it only works when the other website updates their PRO version. When not, it gives this message: Event Aggregator cannot import events because this site is running an outdated version of The Events Calendar.

Feel free to grab events from http://bigcityevents.net/ we have the updated version.

    Hi Elza!

Thanks for reaching out to us and for using our plugins! šŸ™‚

I’m happy to hear youĀ like the “Other URL” import feature. We really appreciate your feedback on it.

Yes, for a site to be readable by the import tool, it needsĀ to have The Events Calendar 4.5 or above. See here >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/release-the-events-calendar-4-5/

ThereĀ is a list of the most commonĀ ā€œOther URLā€ Import Errors you should know about for future reference here >Ā https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/url-import-errors-event-aggregator/

I hope that helps you understand the “Other URL” import featureĀ in depth.

Let me know if there is any other question.

    Cheers!
    Victor

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
