ParticipantI’m having the exactly the same problem discussed here https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/import-facebook-not-working/
I’ve done everything that richbkk had done.
This problem have being happening since your last update. And not only that, your last update also affect many others parts of my site such as “Eventos Recomendados” and “Lugares Recomendados”. I need a solution for this. I know is not my host, is your update that is in conflict with my site. Everytime there is an update since I started to use your pro version in octuber 2013, I have to pay extra money to my tech guy, because your updates affect my site. I can continue affording these. I paid for a pro version that includes a support.
I need you to enter to may site and please fix it.
My whole business is based in events, http://www.culturatop.com.pa is a page that promotes events. So I need these plugin to work.November 22, 2013 at 8:49 am #78206elsie

ParticipantHi elsie,
I’m sorry you’re having trouble importing from Facebook. Sometimes the issue is with the Facebook API. Can you tell me what event(s) you are trying to import so I can take a look at that?

ParticipantI’m having problems with all the events that are allow by your plugin to import.
I cannot enter to the option import: facebook. In settings I change the option to auto import and auto post the events from facebook and it doesn’t work.
Please can you check my site. I know it is something with your plugin that is in conflict with my site, because when I uninstall the plugin everything works.November 22, 2013 at 3:59 pm #78300Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHey elsie,
I’d be happy to take a closer look. But I am wondering which Facebook event(s) you are trying to import so that I can test it. Do you have a Facebook Page that you are pulling from?

ParticipantHi elsie,
Thanks for sending those links. I was able to import events from those sites, so let’s see if we can get it working for you too.
If you go to the Events > Settings > Facebook tab and add, let’s say the teatro information like this http://d.pr/i/s3SE and save it. Then go up to the Events > Import: Facebook screen and verify that the events are checked like this http://d.pr/i/UxCg. If they’re not checked, check the box and click the “Import events” button.
Did that bring the event in for you?

ParticipantHi, my problem is that every time I try to enter to Import:Facebook this happens: http://screencloud.net/v/zXYh
That’s why I cannot import the events.
What can I do to solve this?November 26, 2013 at 4:20 pm #78752Julie Kuehl
ParticipantThanks for that screenshot, elsie. That error comes from two servers not being able to connect. You’ll need to talk to your hosting company to get it resolved.
