Import Events via RSS or CSV

I saw from another thread that you are working on a plugin to import events using a csv file. Do you have an ETA for that?

Also, do you have any plans for a plugin to import calendar events via RSS? Say if a venue has been created and that venue can provide an RSS feed, it would be ideal if the organizer or author could set it to import all future events using RSS.

Hi Barbara. We have the importer finished, and it’s currently in beta stages. If you’d be interested in testing it / providing some feedback, I’d be happy to give you a copy. Shoot me an email (rob at tri.be) if you want to proceed down that route.

We have had a few folks bring up the idea of an RSS-based importer, and we’ve kicked the idea around. Some advanced importers may come down the road but given the complexity of building them, we have nothing along those lines on the immediate roadmap.
