import events from timely all in one events calendar

Hi there: I’m looking to switch over my time.ly – all-in-one-event-calendar plugin and I’m considering The Events Calendar. Before going forward, I have many questions. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Hopefully, this will help other potential users as well.

I apologize if the info is on your site already. I see some comments from 2014 and csv files but I think I also saw that perhaps the system would be streamlined.

I have approximately 9000 events that I will need to import.
If the csv export/import is the answer how do I know what tables to export in order to capture, venues, re-occurring events etc?

Hopefully you can offer some guidance.

We offer a detailed guide for using our CSV Importer on our Knowledgebase here, as well as a secondary reference with field breakdowns and examples here (including sample CSVs you can download and use to adapt your own data).
