ParticipantI created an app and now trying to import events which my account created or signed up to.
I entered my Facebook user account ID in the “Facebook” tab, on the third field (“Organization and page usernames / IDs to fetch events from”) and then went to the “Import: Facebook” menu item. I got the following error:
“Facebook API Error: The global ID 100006584599071 is not allowed. Please use the application specific ID instead.”
I then tried using some other Facebook account username (account which is not mine) and got the following error:
“Facebook API Error: (#803) Cannot query users by their username (panorama.floor)”
The documentation is not updated and does not include informative solutions for individual account event imports, which now supposed to be available (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/has-the-feature-of-importing-events-from-individual-fb-profiles-ready-yet/).
What am I missing? 🙂

MemberHello, sorry for the trouble you are having. I am going to help get this straightened out for you.
Facebook ID
Please go to here after signing into Facebook first:https://developers.facebook.com/apps/
Find the App you created and confirm the ID you see there is the one you put in the settings in The Events Calendar.
Let me know what you find there and we can go to the next step on that.
Facebook Event Import
You stated this:“Facebook API Error: (#803) Cannot query users by their username (panorama.floor)”
However, that is a profile username and per Facebook API rules you cannot bulk import events from a user profile.
To import events created by a user you have to find the Event you would like to import click on it so it is the page you are viewing. THe url will look something like this:
https://www.facebook.com/events/12345689
That number on the end is the only thing you put in the box to import events. This is the only way to import Events from Facebook Users.
Page or Organization Bulk Import
For a Facebook Page you can auto import events and that is what that third field is for with either a page’s id or username.Facebook Users.
I looked at the other topic link your provided both I and Brook are looking for clarification on that for Bulk User Imports. I will update on that once I know more. Thanks

MemberSo to clarify from that other post, you cannot bulk import from a Facebook User Profile their events. You can only import single events from users. Bulk import still only works with Facebook Pages and Organizations. We are updating that other post to clarify that too. Sorry for the confusing information.

MemberOk, So I confirmed it with the Facebook API we cannot do Bulk Import of a User’s Events. The API only allows for us to do it from Organizations and Pages. Brook has clarified his responses on the post you linked to and has more information there too.
Has the feature of importing events from individual fb profiles ready yet?
Sorry for the confusion.
