ParticipantThe Event Description is field type of HTML. However, it seems that upon importing of new events, their seems to be a check to validate the HTML code and the <iframe> tags are not supported. So I’m trying to import many events using CSV that have slightly different iFrame’s (registration form linked to our marketing automation).
I’ve tried many different variations on importing events and have been unable to get this to work.
Is it supported? Or is it possible to have this field import directly without it being “processed”? The exact HTML code works if I copy and paste it into the Description upon editing the event, but this would be a mammoth task for someone to do it for every event.

KeymasterHi Darby,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately this feature is not currently supported, which may be why you are experiencing issues when trying to import.
For your reference, here are some CSV file examples for importing:

You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantThank you for the response.
I have used the examples (which DO NOT have an actual example of HTML for the event description field for import). I’m trying to import some formatting items using HTML and these are also being stripped out. I’m trying to use Tables to make a two column display for the description (on import). It’s very painful going back and forth and figuring out what is or is not going to work and why on import.
Follow up question, is there a document list of supported tags for the importer? Is there a way I can test (validate a string of html) it without going back and forth and importing?

KeymasterHi Darby,
You could try using a CSV Validator tool, such as this one, to check your CSV before importing.
We do not have a list of supported tags, what you see in the reference in my previous response contains the best compilation of available tags.
