GuestI will be doing imports via CSV file
I want to also use your ticket plug-in since I want an attendee list to my events. Most events will use your RSVP function.
Is it possible to enable the RSVP function in the CSV import or will I have to manually edit each event to enable RSVP?
Thanks

KeymasterHi Jeff,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
With Event Tickets Plus, you will have the tickets and RSVP functionality that you are looking for. With our free The Events Calendar, you can use the CSV import functionality.
You can import RSVP’s via CSV, although you will want to ensure that you have imported the associated events first.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,

GuestLet me make sure I understand this.
I upload the events – each having an event name.
I upload the RSVP list – each row having an event name which matches to step 1.
The system should automatically match events and make all events with a name in the RSVP csv file have RSVP ticketing?
Does this work if I have recurring events, i.e. 10 instances of the same event name?

KeymasterHi Jeff,
Yes, that is correct. Unfortunately it doesn’t work the same with recurring events, as recurring events are not currently supported by Event Tickets Plus.
You can also vote on this idea in our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

GuestHi Jamie,
So, you are saying that the RSVP function will not work correctly if I have 2 events with the same name?
I have a Friday Night Special (aptly named Friday Night Special) that occurs every Friday. Is there a way to enable RSVP on this event.
Related to this question – what if I use Aggregator to import events from a Google Calendar? Will Events Tickets Plus find these events and enable RSVP? And as above, what will it do if the same event name is found multiple times?
Thanks

KeymasterHi Jeff,
You can certainly add RSVPs to each of your events, even if they have the same name. You can also create a recurring event in order to populate the calendar and then break events from the series in order to add individual RSVPs for each event.
You can import events from your Google Calendar and then add RSVPs to those events once they have been imported to your site. If the events have the same name but different dates, they will still be imported and appear on the date that they are listed at.
I hope this helps to clarify some things for you. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
