Import attendees?

Please, oh please tell me there’s a way to import attendees. I have an existing tool with dozens of events and hundreds of attendees. I see event and venue and organizer import but not attendees. Can this be done either in some UI or via phpmyadmin?

Hi Chris,

Are you importing events/attendees from another calendar plugin or from one site using The Events Calendar to another?

If you’re migrating data from one site to another and both use the plugin, then I would suggest exporting the database from first site over to the next.

If you’re migrating data from another system altogether, then it may not be possible to move that data cleanly without some more advanced database work. In this case, it depends on how the other system handles attendees and then mapping them to The Events Calendar’s attendees.

We’re migrating from Formstack.

So, if I do need to import using phpmyadmin, any potential red flags?

Good question. I haven’t migrated from Formstack myself. The only red flag I would suggest is to backup all your work, from databases to files and test it all in a development environment before doing it on a live site. I tend to be pretty liberal with my backup practices when databases are involved.
