immediate ticket printing at conclusion of checkout process

Is there an option so that a ticket can be printed by a customer, directly from the ‘sale completed’ screen at the conclusion of the checkout process? Assuming that the customer uses their credit card to make the purchase, they would not need to wait for manual admin to ‘complete’ the order or wait for an email with a PDF attachment, and a link could be displayed immediately. Will the system allow that customization?
