ParticipantI want to make in an additional field the possibility for a contributor to add 3 images in a checkbox. Is this possible and what is the best way to do this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

MemberHello Ellen,
That’s interesting! While there are no file uploads fields in the custom field options for Community Events, I wonder if it might be possible to create them using Advanced Custom Fields in addition to what’s offered in our plugin. That would allow you to define additional fields and attach them to the events post type.
It’s worth noting that I haven’t tested that myself and it’s possible that the Community Events form template itself will need to be customized to display those fields so those creating events have access to them. For that, we do have a Themer’s Guide that helps walk through the process of customizing the calendar’s templates.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete answer for you here, but does this at least help get you started? Please let me know.
Cheers,

ParticipantHello Geoff,
Thank you for your answer. But unfortunataly: I’ve tried that. I can add images in the dashboard of WordPress with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, but the Contributers that use the Community Event form cannot use that. It would help if could use the additional fields to add an image. Or else add a link to an image or other website.
A client of mine wants a website where contributers can add a workshop or training and in the add-event form must be a possibility to choose from a list of books with which people can prepare for the workshop or training (my client sells books on an other website and want to give attention to the books via the events)
I hope I made myself clear, my English is not that good…
Cheers, Ellen

MemberThat makes perfect sense, Ellen! Thanks for following up and clarifying that for me. 🙂
I’m afraid that feature is not currently supported in our plugins. I can see how others may find that useful as well and it would be awesome if you posted this idea to our feature request forum. This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,
