Images for upcoming or featured events

Hi,
Love the plugin. However on my home page I’d like to be able to perhaps feature a few events specifically, or at least show the upcoming events I have from different categories but not just in a text format. I would prefer to show and feature the graphic I built for the event in large size, which is the featured image for that. Is there someway I can do that?
