When a community member tries to upload a featured image they get a HTTP Error message after uploading the image.
The media upload icon is not present in the backend of the Event or Post for community members.
I’m using Genesis- Magazine Theme- Thanks

Robin – can you give me a link to your ‘add event page’ or show me a screenshot with the error? Thanks!

Hi Casey, thanks for getting back to me. Here’s the error screenshot, the community URL is set as community and the default membership level is contributor. http://screencast.com/t/tu8KdDOpG8wP the media library is empty as well http://screencast.com/t/sVRCyoBGS

    thanks so much.

    Robin,
Can you confirm that those screenshots were taken from the back-end? Community Members should edit their posts from the front-end using the following URL: http://www.YOUR_SITE.com/events/community/list

Are they able to edit via the front-end? Or are you still getting HTTP errors?

Great! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.
