Ideas for Carousel of Event Categories and Single Events

Hello,

We are working on implementing your plugin into our site and are looking to see if there is any functionality or a best known way to implement a carousel on our site that pulls from the events categories along with pulling the event categories themselves. We would like it to show the featured image, meta-data, and price. Any information, insight or best practices that you have encountered would be great!

Hi – great question!

I normally recommend querying for the events you wish to retrieve via tribe_get_events() … this is basically a thin wrapper around WordPress’s own query functions and accepts many of the same parameters – so you could for instance provide a taxonomy query to limit the result set to a specific group of event categories.
