Hi, Im trying to get Community Events up and running but is having some trouble.
One of the things I need help with is the drop down fields for Venue and Organizer, wich is looking like the attached image. The icons is placed in strange ways over the search form. What can I do about it? Is it possible to set the icons to display:none; ?
Im using the theme Enfold with WordPress 4.7, but had the same issue with earlier versions of WordPress.
I don’t have a copy of the latest version of Enfold theme to test, but if you provide me a link to your site’s Community Events form, I will be able to take a closer look at it.
Thanks. I found that image comes from /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/vendor/chosen/public/[email protected], which is set as the background-image for .chosen-container-single .chosen-search input[type=text]
The background-position CSS that changes how this sprite image appears is from /wp-content/themes/kulturenso/css/base.css?ver=2 — #top input[type=”text”] –> https://cl.ly/1S002G1K3v26
You, your own developer, or your theme author would need to add your own fix/override for this (don’t forget the variety of media queries too), but this should get you a long way toward that resolution. 🙂
