iCal Importer

Will the iCal Importer import items from an RSS feed? Meaning, will the iCal importer pull ALL the information we make for events in The Events Calendar (photo, description, google map, etc.)? or just some of the information?

What we are trying to do is use The Events Calendar on our main site to schedule events, then use another plugin to duplicate the events exactly as written to our microsites. Will iCal Importer do this?

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.

The iCal importer does not import RSS feeds and unfortunately, we do not have any feature to do that with out plugins.

So, I would have to copy the details of the “main” event to all the microsites? Even with the iCal importer?

The iCal importer will pull in the title, date and time, timezone, description, url, geo location(lat and long) and category.

The iCal standard is limited in what it can do and does not pull, organizers, venues, images, google maps, or anything else not listed above.
