ical import not working

Dear support,

The ical import does not work any more for my google calendar events after I had imported them for testing purposes, then deleted them and set a regular automatic import rule. Even deleting the respective table with the stored events imported won’t change a thing.

We will gladly assist you in troubleshooting this issue.

First and foremost, I believe you should read my colleague Brian’s great post on this very topic.
As you can see it is very likely that the deleted items are still present in your database.

If that still does not work, can you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?

Hello Jacob,

I had the same problem with the Google Calendar. I received a mass-notification email from them at the end of this past summer informing all of its users that as of November 2015, their calendar will no longer provide live feeds/updates. I’ve confirmed this to be true because all of my reoccurring events (that were being fed to Google from my iCal) came to a screeching halt. So, therefore, I just cut out the middle man and use my iCal as the source of my calendar posts. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a resolve to having this done seamlessly, without any glitches. I hope that this information was helpful.
