ParticipantI’m having an issues with the iCal import and subscribe link not working. I did some testing and it’s the “Smoke & Mirror” theme that is doing something weird. Some how it is adding three blank lines at the top of the .ics file. So when it’s downloaded, the calendar doesn’t recognize it. Same thing happens with the subscribe link. My question, is what can interfere with the ics creation, to add three lines at the top of the file? Just need some insight to ask the theme developer.
Example with Smoke & Mirror Theme http://www.soulified.com/Screenshot_1.jpg
Example with default WordPress Theme http://www.soulified.com/Screenshot_2.jpg
Thanks

ParticipantHi echristoperj,
I have no ideas but I’ve passed this on to one of our developers to see if he has any ideas. Stay tuned!
Thanks,

MemberHello echristoperj! Thanks for your patience! I’ve looked into this and cant recreate the issue, either in my local or in your live site! I tested a few browsers, installed your theme locally and anyway i hit it the ics works! Here are screens from me importing your events, and the ics file from your site with the theme active.
Can you please test again and if the problem persists for you tell me what browser/os you are on? Thank you so much!

ParticipantI was able to fix the issue with the Fix RSS plugin (http://www.gofunnow.com/wordpress/plugins/fix-rss-feed-error-wordpress-plugins.htm). I’m not sure why this installation needed this fix. Thanks again for your effort and time.
