ParticipantRestarting previous thread. Original question quoted below.
My question remains, about importing the incorrect date and time. I have tested for conflicts and everything seems fine in that regard. My primary concern is regarding the incorrect data import (the iCal feed is https://gcbc.onthecity.org/plaza/events/ical_feed). I have to edit all the incorrect information on the events. In addition, I believe that since the events imported the wrong date, when I correct them to the proper date the old information reimports as new events. I had updated my settings to not re-import events but it seems as if that change had been switched back to the default perhaps after an update.
If there is no fix for this issue. The Aggregator will cause more work rather than less work for me and I will request a refund.
I just purchased and used the event aggregator. I was excited to use the iCal import. However, the import did not pull the correct information, so I am left with a bunch of events that do not have the correct time and/or date. Can this be corrected? If so, how?
It would also be nice to be able to parse out some of the iCal data, so the events don’t have extra unneeded information. For instance, all the events were created with the following format: EVENT NAME: GROUP NAME. I don’t want the group name as part of the title.
If these issues cannot be fixed, the event aggregator will not allow me to avoid having to create events in two different systems and therefore will not be a helpful purchase.

KeymasterHi Scott,
Thanks for reaching out!
I have checked, the bug related to this issue is already being worked on with highest priority. Although I cannot confirm a release date for the fix, if all goes according to plan it should come with our next Maintenance Release. Hang in there.
I’m sorry I cannot give you better news at this time, but wanted to let you know that your issue report is not going unnoticed.
Thanks for your patience!
Cheers,

ParticipantHello!
I’m so sorry about this, but I actually misfired in my initial post about this and have confirmed with our development team that the bugfixes for the iCal import end times is actually still in its final stages of testing—it has not launched yet and is not yet available.
My apologies!
It should still be arriving soon nonetheless—stay tuned to this thread and to our product news for updates!
Sincerely,
GeorgeDecember 18, 2016 at 7:19 am #1207518Nico
MemberHi there,
Just wanted to inform that the fix for this issue has been finally pushed to the Event Aggregator server! There’s no need to update the plugins, although I recommend using the latest version of The Events Calendar.
Thanks so much for the patience while we worked on this 🙂
Please let us know if this is working as expected for you,
Best,
