We have an issue with people registering but then forgetting about the event. I think it is at least partly because it’s not on their calendar and they forget. The current buttons are too inconspicuous.

After registration, we redirect to a static page. Is there a way to get the iCal/Google Calendar export buttons on this page? Ideally, it would be dynamic based on the referring page, but if that is not possible, I can edit it every time.

Here’s an example of the page I am talking about. https://www.issafortworth.org/rsvp-success/.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.

You’ll want to take a look at the the-events-calendar/src/views/functions/template-tags/ ical.php file.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
