Hello! I’ve seen a few support responses for things like this, but I seem to still be running into an issue.
My situation:
I’m trying to display events under a specific category through an mobile app that we use (Subsplash). Our app has the ability to post the “iCal Feed URL” from which it will extract the events and display them with the information already organized nicely. It’s a handy feature and it displays posts well.My issue:
However, it keeps pulling in all calendar posts as opposed to ones from a specific category. I keep supplying two different iCal Feed URLs (northshore.church/events/category/featured/ical and northshore.church/events/category/featured.ics). I can’t find an iCal feed in the source for the category specifically, so I’m trying to improvise. I have a feeling I can do this, but instead of posting events from the one category, it posts all events on my calendar without filtering them…am I missing something?Thank you!

Thank you! Indeed, that is exactly what I was looking to do. However, in repeating those instructions, it’s still pulling all events from the calendar as opposed to just the category…any other suggestions?
Thank you 🙂

Hmmm, I just ran a test with the following steps:
- Go to the list view of my Calendar
- Filter the events by the category I’m interested in
- Right-click on the + Export listed events and select Copy link
This should result in an URL that looks like [your site]/events/list/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=5&ical=1&tribe_display=list
Can you confirm that’s the case ?
Regards,
