ParticipantHi,
I am trying to supply an iCal feed to an app to show upcoming events. However, in the iCal file, the start and end dates are showing in 2018 even though I have 2017 dates. All I can guess is that all my recurring events are appearing as 2018 because they extend until that time.
Can you let me know what to do so that the start and end dates in the iCal feed are correct? The feed is: https://www.fbcsudbury.org/events/?ical=1
Thanks,

ModeratorHey Chelsea,
We have a bug logged resembling what you’ve described, so I’ve added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. Luckily, it’s at Priority Level 1 which means it should be included in the next maintenance release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information.
You could temporarily revert back to the version which exports correctly for you until we can come up with a solution. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
I do see that a release was made today. Do you know if the problem in this ticket was supposed to be addressed?
I did do the update and checked the iCal feed but see the same issue. On my recurring events, they still start in 2018, which throws off the calendar when I’m trying to tie it into my app. Here is the feed and part of the code:
https://www.fbcsudbury.org/events/?ical=1
BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:20180208T183000
DTEND;TZID=America/New_York:20180208T210000
DTSTAMP:20170210T010849
CREATED:20170127T025419ZDo you know if there is another fix for this?
Thanks!

ModeratorHey Chelsea,
I checked the status of the bug report related to your particular and it’s still ‘Open’ – meaning it has not been addressed. I apologize you’re still waiting for a fix! We typically update threads with the news their issue(s) have been addressed, so hold tight while we work on the faulty code.
Thanks again for your continued patience and let me know if you’ve got any more questions in the mean time. Have a great weekend!
