MemberHi Pete!
1) Can you have external iCal feeds populate your calendar?
That is certainly a possibility – but it isn’t quite facilitated out of the box at this time. Really though the sky’s the limit and especially if you are at home playing with code you could leverage our API to import events from pretty much any source.
2) Does the calendar(s) -not single events- have an iCal address?
The calendar generates iCal feeds and links to them from a number of pages – like here (on our demo site), near the bottom of the page, and you can view the resulting output here – so you might point your calendar app to that address, for example, depending on what you want to achieve.
Does that answer your questions? Definitely let me know if I can help with anything else 🙂

GuestI’m not so much of a tech guy and am not sure what populate means when it comes to iCal but I think I have the same or similar question. My calendar is Outlook. Is there a way to sync my Outlook calendar with this calendar app so that when I add an event to outlook it auto shows up on the calendar? Conversely, if I create an event in wordpress with the app, will it show up on the outlook calendar?

MemberHi Luke,
I’m taking “populate” simply to mean the process of adding events to a given calendar 🙂
Is there a way to sync my Outlook calendar with this calendar app so that when I add an event to outlook it auto shows up on the calendar? Conversely, if I create an event in wordpress with the app, will it show up on the outlook calendar?
We don’t have any specific functionality to sync with Outlook, I’m afraid. It certainly ought to be possible to take the iCal format output our plugin can generate and pull that into Outlook (if Outlook supports that format) – but there is no two-way process at this time, I’m afraid.
Thanks!
