iCal export showing incorrect time

I have my WordPress settings as well as the events settings set to local time but the export hours seem to be off 7 hours ahead. We are in Mountain time.

Please help to get this fixed.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I took a look at your site and did a test export and saw exactly what you are describing here. As an initial step for attempting to recreate, can you send me the exact settings for what you’re using for:

1. the main WordPress timezone setting
2. the timezone setting on the events

Hey Josh,

My timezone settings is set to Denver (Mountain Time) and the timezone of events is set to local time. I tried switching between the local time and stewed timezones but still have the same issue.

Hi,

I am going to jump in here as this might help.

I found the issue and a temporary work around for now.

If you replace the content of this file:

plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/iCal.php

With this:

That fixed the issue for me.

I’m glad it worked for you Kyle! I just took a look at what will be included in our maintenance release (should be released soon) and a solution for this problem is included with that update. So, you should be safe to update when that release is available without causing this issue to creep back in.
