iCal export – no locations

I, i use Facebook Event import to get my events from FB to my page, and both in Calendar Pro…
It´s importing the Events with adresses… but on export, in ics files the location arent there… any help?
I Want to import the ics to google calendar, and need the locations

Hi @crack00r,

Great question!

I don’t believe the iCal format specifically supports venue locations – that being the case I think this is something where you might need to do a little customization and perhaps work the address into the event description or excerpt.

On other Calender, i dont know if i can write the name here (t***.ly) on export ical the adresses get correct exported…
and on 2 events in the current ics on my page the location get exported too… so it should work, just seams to be broken…

Oh I see, yes you could definitely be on to something there. That being the case and with reference to Brook’s update this would seem to be unrelated to our iCal support. Are you happy to continue progressing this with Brook over in the other thread?
