ParticipantWhen the ICAL export is used to export an event into Outlook. When the downloaded ICS file is clicked, within Outlook a new calendar is created for the event. The timezone is not translated from the event timezone to my outlook timezone presumably because of the new calendar.
This was an event that was imported from Eventbrite. If I go to the event in Eventbrite and request the same ICAL export, clicking on the downloaded ICS has different results. It opens the event and when I save the event it is saved in my calendar and the timezone is adjusted as expected.
What do I need to do to get ICAL export to save the event in my calendar with the correct timezone?

KeymasterHi Tyler,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, can you update your Events Calendar plugins to their most recent versions and test again to see if that issue still occurs?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi there, Plugins are now all up to date but same problem still exists. Can you please advise on how to get ical export to import the event directly into my outlook calendar in the correct timezone?

KeymasterHi Tyler,
As a first step, I’d recommend checking your Outlook calendar to make sure that the timezone there is the one that you want. Same goes for the timezone of the event itself on your site.
Here is some more information that you may find useful:

In addition, can you provide me with a link to the page where you are seeing this issue?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime
