    Hey Kelly,

Thanks for reaching out. The Recurring Events feature of Events Calendar Pro may help with creating one event on multiple different times and dates. Learn more about that here ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

When it comes to adding multiple locations, though, this is unfortunately not possible. You can only add an event to one Venue with our plugins at this time, and there is no way to change this. 🙁

Please let me know if this information helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

Ok, thanks. I do have another issue. I am adding the short code to this
page to add the different events.

    http://www.classinabox.net/home/summer-camps/science-art-and-technology-combinations/adventures-in-archaeology/

I have figured out how to add the location name but the link is taking you
to a page that is not formed. I want it to take them to our registration
    page:
    https://campscui.active.com/orgs/ImagineThatandFutureTech#/selectSessions/1781404

How do I change that? I have that as the event website but that is not
    where it is going.

Also getting error message under my event. It may be related to above, but
    if not, please help

    Hi Kelly,

Sorry to hear about these issues! I’m happy to help — please respond to each of the following three questions:

    1. You say, “I am adding the short code to this page”…Which shortocde are you adding, specifically?

    2. Next, your error message cites a function called “education_zone_pro_excerpt_more”. None of our plugins have any function named this, so this is not coming from our plugins.

    3. Have you modified any of the code in any of our plugins?

    Hi Kelly,

I asked three specific questions in my reply above. What are your three answers to those three questions?

Hi, I did not get an email on this and just found in this forum. Here are my responses:

    1. You say, “I am adding the short code to this page”…Which shortocde are you adding, specifically?
[ecs-list-events venue=’true’ cat=’lil’] It calls the appropriate event but when I click on the event, it goes to a 404 error. This error comes up when I try to open any of my events, even for ones that show correctly on the calendar. So not sure how the event is showing on calendar but the page does not work. You can see the issue here: http://www.classinabox.net/events-calendar/?tribe-bar-date=2017-06 Click on the link for a event and it does give errror.
All in all, what I want to accomplish is to have my customers be able to go to our registration page for a specific camp event. See page http://www.classinabox.net/home/summer-camps/science-art-and-technology-combinations/ladies-in-lab-coats/ I was able to have it show the event but I have not found a way to make this a link to the registration page.

Bigger question, I would like to have a means to pull in all events of the same name or slug and have a button that shows them in a drop down list. Is this available on Events calendar?

    2. Next, your error message cites a function called “education_zone_pro_excerpt_more”. None of our plugins have any function named this, so this is not coming from our plugins. Ok

    3. Have you modified any of the code in any of our plugins? No.

    Hey Kelly,

[ecs-list-events] is not a shortcode we make, so we are unfortunately not able to provide support for it. Please contact the makers of that shortcode for assistance with why it’s not working.

    Next you say this:

Bigger question, I would like to have a means to pull in all events of the same name or slug and have a button that shows them in a drop down list. Is this available on Events calendar?

There is no way to do this out-of-the-box with our plugins. To implement these things, you would have to write extensive custom code yourself or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

Sorry to disappoint here! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
