ParticipantI created a recurring event (once a week for 8 weeks). I needed to edit it so I went to the first event of the series, made the changes and selected save to all events.
I go to the calendar to check the changes then all of a sudden it has randomly deleted some of the event dates in that series?!
If I go in and make another change and save it deletes yet another one of them. Totally confused as to why. This is not a good glitch to have. What is going on? Need it fixed ASAPSeptember 26, 2013 at 5:15 pm #67923Rob
MemberHi there jodiederome. Thanks for posting this, and my apologies for the inconvenience! This definitely sounds like an unpleasant issue. This does sound like an issue unique to your setup; I’m unable to recreate it locally and I haven’t seen any other reports to this same effect.
I see you’re running WordPress 3.4.2; is there a reason? The minimum WP version this plugin runs smoothly on is WordPress 3.5. My guess is you’re going to continue having problems until you can update to a more current version. Might you be in a position to do so?

ParticipantHi –
I manage the Tucson Village Farm website:
http://www.tucsonvillagefarm.org/I had a recurring event that I had scheduled to recur for the next 10 years. But then I went to try and turn off its recurrence and there are 53 pages of it appearing as an event. I don’t want to have to delete each one.
SO I took the first one and changed it from recurring weekly to never. I then updated that event and it left all the remaining recurrences intact. I want them all to go away.
How can I get rid of the recurrences in one fell swoop?October 3, 2013 at 10:33 am #69029Barry
MemberHi David,
One thing you need to be wary of if you’ve been editing recurring events is that they haven’t in fact been split into separate “chains”. Broadly speaking though you should be able to remove the recurrence pattern from the base event – the first in the sequence – and that should remove the others.
This is a different problem from that discussed by Rob and Jodie though and we do try to stick to one issue per thread – for that reason I’ll go ahead and close this, but if the above steps don’t work for you please do not hesitate to create a new thread.
Thanks!
