ParticipantI have added 1200 attendees to the event and now I am unable to access the attendees list. When I click on the “Attendees” link in the event page, the browser times out with the error: Inactivity Timeout Description: Too much time has passed without sending any data for document. Do you have any documentation on how to set this up and what resources are necessary for us to be able to host an event this large?

MemberSince it wasn’t clear from my previous reply… this is a known bug.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Is there a approximate timeframe when this might be released or a patch
that I could test as this will be a showstopper for us if we don’t have any
idea of when this will be resolved and no way to fix it as we need to go
live in 3 months or so. Let me know.June 5, 2017 at 9:54 am #1293227Cliff
MemberDoyle, I apologize for the delay getting back to you here. I was awaiting a reply from our planning team and the answer is that this won’t be addressed anywhere near your 3 month timeframe.
Therefore, if you’d like to still use Event Tickets Plus (ET+), you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Here’s a snippet that could help toward customizing it for you, at the least to give your developer a head start toward how-to:

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

ParticipantI solved the issue for now by increasing the memory allocated to php and WordPress. Having the plugin return a paginated result would be ideal. Hopefully you can get the bug fixed and put into a code release soon for those of us that want to run bigger events as currently, the product is really struggling when you hit 3,000 attendees plus.

MemberHi Doyle!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a pagination feature in sales and attendees reports in Event Tickets 🙂
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/release-event-tickets-4-7-event-tickets-plus-4-7/
We always recommend using a staging site to test new versions before updating on a live site > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/
Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if anything comes up.
