HTML Tags in ticket description

Hi there,

I’m looking to add some basic tags

and

that sort of thing into the ticket descriptions on Event Tickets Plus.

I tried this and it just displays the tags.. Is there a way to have the plugin / wordpress process the tags.. I’m just looking to add a heading to each description and maybe add css classes to some of the paragraphs in there.

sorry, just noticed that the tags I added as examples were interpreted as tags.. I can’t find the edit button so to be clear the tags I’m looking to add are h3 and basic ones like that.

I managed to achieve what I needed by modifying the tickets.php template instead.

And learnt something in the process…

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the struggles you had while trying to customize the plugin.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Actually, I don’t know if you are aware of this, but we have built our plugin in a way that makes it easy to come up with template overrides.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Basically, provided you create a /tribe-events/ folder and the proper path for the modified file, the modified file will have priority over the plugin’s file.

That also means that your customization will survive plugin updates.
