How to work the forum??

I was looking for something on the forum and actually found something that looked promising. Then, I couldn’t get to the details!

HOW DO I READ THE DETAILS?

Yes, the “insiders” have locked down the entry gate. All I need are a few secret passwords, handshakes and perhaps a wink? What???

Indeed, I have posted a previous request and can’t read what are apparently (6) replies. That problem resolved when I stumbled into some “right place” but I really, really need to be able to work the forms

Please send me a link – in an email – because I can’t read the answers on the forum. Answering in the forum is not good for me, yet. I mean, I hope – yet.

Hi Herschel,

I’m sorry that you’re having such a hard time navigating the forums.

First, the link you posted is actually to a list of responses to various topics for one person’s profile…I’m not sure what you were looking for when you came across that particular page, but to view the full post, you can click on the link that is included in each response (see screenshot). I am not logged in in that screenshot, so I am not able to see anything there that is not open to the public 🙂 This page is part of wordpress.org, so even though it may be related to one of our plugins (that profile is for one of our plugin contributors), we have no control whatsoever over how it is displayed.

When you say you posted a previous thread that you were not able to find again, is that one that you posted here in one of our premium forums on theeventscalendar.com or in one of the community forums on wordpress.org? For our forums, you can see all of the topics you have created here on your profile page. You will need to be logged in with the account that you used to purchase your Pro license to access this page.

Finally, we do not do email support – all support is done here in the forums. However, you can choose to get email notifications when we reply, and you can also reply via email to post a response here in the forums. The notification you get should have a link back to the original thread.
