How to set different tickets limit per purchase?

Hello there!

Here’s the request I came across yesterday and I wonder if you could help me with that.

We have a new event coming and we’d like to sell 3 different ticket options with 3 different ticket limitations.

1. Ticket Student – you can only buy 4 per purchase/order
2. Ticket Staff – you can only by 2 per purchase/order
3. Ticket General Public – you can only by 1 per purchase/order

Is it possible to set these limitations? If so, how?

I would love to help you with this topic.

The simplest way to go about this would be to use a third-party WooCommerce plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-max-quantity/.

This allows you to set purchase limits per order for each product.

The process would be as follows:

1. Create all your tickets normally
2. Make sure the quantity limit plugin is installed and activated
3. Go to the WooCommerce Products menu and find the WooCommerce products corresponding to the different tickets you just created
4. Edit each WooCommerce ticket product and adjust its max quantity limit to your liking
