Since upgrading to event calendar pro I have one small problem. I can not get rid of the sidebar in my single events views. It is making problems for me by displaying all the site page, archive and categories at the bottom of the page. This should be doable. Have you tried the different templating options available under Settings -> The Events Calendar? Let me know if they didn’t accomplish what you were going for.

I have tried changing the default page template from ‘default events page’ to ‘theme page’ but then I lost the meta data for event at the top (venue, time, date etc).

Where is the “event page .php file stored? If I could copy it and adapt it to remove the sidebar then it would work fine for me.

If you felt comfortable doing a template override, that’d definitely be the best method (more on the process can be found under the “Customization” section of our FAQ page at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/FAQ). The individual event listings are controlled by the single.php file in the “Views” folder.
