How to properly count tickets still available to sale ?

Hi there,

I’ve a problem using tribe_events_count_available_tickets() to get number of tickets still available to sale.

I have an event where I have only 21 available tickets. I’ve set 21 capacity in “Set capacity for this ticket only” on the ticket and I set 0 in “Shared Capacity” in settings.

tribe_events_count_available_tickets() display to me -1, where I’m wrong ?

Maybe I didn’t understand properly how capacity/share capacity of tickets work ?

Hi Cyrille!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that issue.

I think there is nothing wrong in how you set the ticket capacity. If you only have that one ticket type for your event, then the capacity should be 21.

Could you please let me know where you are using the tribe_events_count_available_tickets() function?

Also, please send us a screenshot of the ticket editor settings when editing the event, so I can see if there is anything wrong with it.
