How to potentially acheive a couple of tasks…

Hi, asking in advance having used event cal for a while and knowing the limitations…

1. Event with pricing teirs; how to show this?
– We will be putting on an event that is to be advertised as Free to members but £16 for non-members. (We don’t need to sell tickets from the event itself.) How can we show this within the parameters of the event, please?

2. Ongoing / recurring events.
– We will be listing some events that will be open Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 and Saturdays 10:00 – 22:00. The exhibition will be open until March. How could we show these 2 different opening times for different days, ongoing? At present I can only figure out how to run an event at the same hours every day until the end of the event.

Hi, Greg.

1)

The Events Calendar free/core plugin can display the Event Cost (there’s a single entry field).

If you use Event Tickets Plus to add tickets of varying cost, the Event Cost will automatically be determined from the minimum and maximum of all the tickets (e.g. “Free – $30).

There’s no integration with any membership/group type plugins, but you (or your developer) could use a filter to display something custom in that area. If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

If I understood your question correctly, you should create 2 recurring events (i.e. event series):

A) Mon – Fri, 9-17

B) Sat – Sun, 10-22
