How to only show events from that day ?

Hi,

At the moment I have lot’s of events which start at say 8 in the evening and finish at 2 in the morning the next day. On the event calendar settings I set the multi day cutoff to 4:00am so on the calendar events aren’t displayed more than once, which works fine.

However I noticed that when clicking on the event day (at the top of each box in the calendar) is takes you to events/2012-09-07/ (for example) however it shows both the events from the previous day extending into the new day as well as the events that start later that day in the evening.

My question is, how can I make it so if I click on the 19th of September (for example) on my calendar, it will only show events starting that day, rather than also having the events from the 18th extending into the 19th as well?

Hey there Michael. This is a slight hack – if I think of a cleaner way I’ll get back to you – but for the time being this could form a working solution.

First of all, open up your custom list.php template. Find the following lines (this is the first bit of “the loop”) http://pastebin.com/xF42BhVi and try inserting a new line in between them, like this:

I ran a quick test and it appears to do the job – however you are probably better placed to test it out as you will no doubt have a greater range of relevant event data to test against 🙂
