How to mass-delete all events/venues from a site

We have a site that has 3,600 events and 68 venues, and we need to wipe the slate clean and start fresh (ical importer created duplicate events and we’d like to start from scratch).

My server admin is comfortable performing SQL commands to scrub this content, but he isn’t seeing the number of event custom post types we would expect.

What is the SQL query to remove events from a site?

Hey Mike,

The post types of and relating to events are as follows:
• tribe_events
• tribe_venues
• tribe_organizers

I hope this helps writing the necessary SQL. You may also find it easier to use a plugin like this one to perform bulk deletions → https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulk-delete/
